Portable Raman spectrometers are developed to measure and analyze Raman and photoluminescence spectra of liquids, solids, powders, and gels. The measurement procedure involves irradiating the sample by a laser source and then collecting and analyzing scattered radiation by a Czerny-Turner spectrometer. The spectral range of the RamanLife portable device (120 — 4000 cm-1) covers the spectral «fingerprints» of most chemical and biological materials. Our database library contains over 20,000 Raman spectra of various substances. The RamanLife software with special algorithms for spectra recognition enables analysis of both pure substances and composite mixtures, as well as virtually instant detection of impurities in ultra-low concentrations.
One of the significant advantages of the device is its portability. Having dimensions of only 230 mm x 145 mm x 55 mm, it can be readily used outside the office or laboratory. The USB interface allows connecting the device conveniently to a laptop or PC. Portable Raman Spectrophotometer is the best choice when high measurement accuracy and ease of use become absolutely essential.
Handheld Raman spectrometers can be used in many areas of production and research.
